Making HPC accessible to every researcher
We believe computational power shouldn't require a PhD in DevOps. PeakOps is building the management layer that makes cloud HPC simple, affordable, and secure.
Our Mission
High-performance computing is essential for scientific discovery — from genomics to climate modeling, from drug discovery to AI research. But today, setting up and managing HPC infrastructure in the cloud requires deep DevOps expertise that most research teams don't have.
PeakOps bridges this gap. We're building a platform that lets researchers launch clusters, manage Slurm, track costs, and deploy AI workloads — all without touching a CloudFormation template or reading AWS pricing pages.
Our goal is simple: let researchers focus on research, not infrastructure.
The Story
PeakOps was born from firsthand experience with the pain of cloud HPC. After watching research teams struggle with AWS infrastructure, we decided to build the tool we wished we had.
Today, PeakOps manages clusters and standalone machines for research teams at universities and enterprises. We're building in public, iterating fast, and obsessed with making HPC accessible.
We're currently in early access with a pilot program. If you're a research team looking for a simpler way to manage cloud compute, we'd love to hear from you.
What we stand for
Researcher-First
Every feature is designed from a researcher's perspective. No DevOps expertise required.
Cost-Conscious
Smart budgets, spot savings, and transparent pricing. We believe compute should be affordable.
Security by Design
Zero credentials shared. Cross-account IAM roles, per-user SSH keys, and full audit trails.
Open & Transparent
Built on open standards: AWS, Slurm, SSH, Ollama. No vendor lock-in, your data stays yours.
